FORUMS

“The past several years has demonstrated the need for people to understand economics. The newly formed Junior Economic Club has taken the initiative to facilitate economic discussions among some of our future leaders. The organization is approaching the learning of economic concepts in a very innovative and effective manner.”

— William Strauss, Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve

The highlight of the JEC is our quarterly economic forums, and attendance is central to membership. At this exclusive event, our members come together from across San Francisco to listen to keynote speakers in the fields of entrepreneurship, business, and finance. The goal of each forum is to inspire these high school leaders to launch their own world-changing initiatives, open their minds to new economic issues by facilitating discussions, as well as encourage them to forge deeper connections with like-minded peers and illustrious adult attendees. Our last Forum was hosted in the Spring of 2024.

Our upcoming forum will be hosted on April 10th, 2025. Join us for an evening of insightful discussions, networking, and community-driven solutions at our JEC Economic Impact Forum! This event will bring together local leaders, experts, and young changemakers to explore pressing economic challenges in the Bay Area, from small business struggles to housing affordability and rising property taxes. The evening will kick off with a panel discussion featuring industry experts, followed by a chance to connect over food and conversation. Attendees will then have the optional opportunity to dive into real-world economic issues through our Local Economic Impact Study Challenge, where teams will present their findings for a chance to win a cash prize. In order to sign up, just sign up here. Whether you're looking to engage with policy discussions, network with like-minded individuals, or showcase your research and presentation skills, this event is the perfect space to make an impact. We look forward to seeing you there! The location will be in downtown SF and we will send it over to you via email. Sign up here: https://www.universe.com/events/2025-spring-forum-tickets-CDV8XR
