High Returns

High Returns is the Junior Economic Club's primary community outreach initiative, centered around providing financial education to middle schoolers across the city. During this program, students will have the opportunity to explore their skills, interests, values, and the world of work to make informed education, career, and life decisions. This program was developed with a primary emphasis on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work readiness, while also providing a strong secondary emphasis on mathematics, reading, and writing skills. Upon completion of our program, students will have learned fundamental business and economic concepts, explored career interests and opportunities, and developed work-readiness skills.

JEC Entrepreneurship Incubator Program

In this program, the National Board along with JEC members and alumni who have had extensive experience in entrepreneurship competitions, such as the Diamond Challenge, Intuit's Social Innovation Challenge, and many more, will be accelerating you on the path to developing your own startup and winning prestigious competitions! You will be competing through the JEC as your organization, and teaming up with other JEC members in order to create your startups and tackle these challenges. We will have regular meetings and practice sessions, in order to ensure you are prepared for when the competitions come to a head.

Junior Economist Graphic Team
